Rack Explorer Digital Privacy Policy
Effective January 2020
This RACK EXPLORER Digital Privacy Policy (USA) ("Privacy Policy") describes how we collect and use your information through a variety of digital means. By accessing or using this mobile application, website, or other RACK EXPLORER product or service on any computer, mobile phone, tablet, console or other device (collectively, "Device"), you consent to our Privacy Policy. PUDDLEHOP may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, effective upon its posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance to this Privacy Policy and any updates. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and is subject to, the Terms of Use.
While this Privacy Policy is intended to generally describe our privacy practices, our goal is to also provide more detailed information at times when it's most meaningful to you. Please look for these notices within our PUDDLEHOP services.
COLLECTING INFORMATION
WHAT YOU GIVE US
We collect information you give us or permit us to access. Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, image, email and social media information and profile, location (GPS) information and activities relating to Platform usage. e.g., bike rack views.
WHAT ELSE WE COLLECT FROM YOU
The login process automatically updates a log of accounts. Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, account identifier, Device identifier and hardware information, IP address, browser type and language, cookie information, and system type. Our authentication service (Google Authentication) may use cookies (and the Usage Information collected) to help us identify you and analyze how you use the Platform.
COLLECTION FOR ANALYTICS
RACK EXPLORER includes Google Analytics so aggregate, anonymous data such as how often various features are accessed, what devices and operating systems are used, and how many installs can be collected. This data helps PUDDLEHOP better understand where to focus for future developments. RACK EXPLORER does not collect data on individual usage of the Platform. e.g., RACK EXPLORER does not know how many times User X viewed a particular bike rack.
COLLECTION FOR CRASH REPORTING
RACK EXPLORER includes Google Firebase Crashlytics so, when an application crashes and a report is sent, additional information, such as point of failed code execution, system environment, device type and operating system, and current application state are included in the report. This report helps PUDDLEHOP resolve issues so we can improve your experience with RACK EXPLORER. No data that can be used to uniquely identify you will be in the report. While PUDDLEHOP appreciates your cooperation in sending the report when a crash occurs so we can make RACK EXPLORER better for you, this information is included only if the report is sent, and you have the choice of whether to send these reports, at the time the crash occurs.
WHAT WE COLLECT FROM OTHER PUDDLEHOP INTERACTIONS AND THIRD PARTIES
We may combine information you give us with other information PUDDLEHOP deems appropriate. This may include, but is not limited to, other RACK EXPLORER aggregated data. We may also combine that information with data that is publicly available and data from third parties, e.g., bike racks provided and maintained by parties that are not part of RACK EXPLORER.
RACK EXPLORER uses mobile devices' respective built-in Maps APIs for map display. The map vendors (Apple, Google) may collect data. This data goes to the respective vendor; PUDDLEHOP does not receive this data.
RACK EXPLORER may deploy AdMob, an advertising platform by Google. RACK EXPLORER does collect, share, and/or use data collected via AdMob's services, for use of personalized advertising services via the Google Firebase AdMob SDK. AdMob's privacy policy is available at www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy.
